___________ October, 2020
Invite your darling to a date under the Full Moon this Halloween weekend! And make it especially seasonal by finding way through a gigantic Corn Maze together.
There are corn mazes throughout the Sunflower State during autumn season. Many of them make the last weekend in October their final weekend of the year. Extra spectacular this year: the last weekend in October includes Halloween — plus a Full Moon.
Some of the Maze hosts celebrate this with special activities that extend into the evening. I’ll give examples below. Yet first, I’ll emphasize the Corn Maze as a date.
The A-Mazing Night
Corn Mazes are oft part of a venue that includes other attractions like pumpkin patches and hayrides, and have a family-friendly focus.
Ah, yet these same backdrops and activities may be fun for grownups, too, and can make a fine date. Walking into a cornfield maze is adventuring into the epitome of autumn. The stalks tall above you — some up to 10-feet! — and dry husks crackling underfoot. The smells of autumn in the air, and a jacket-weather breeze. Corn mazes are in the country, where you may behold the vast sky. You may look up to the stars — and this Halloween weekend, the Full Moon!
The Full Moon is on Saturday. However, Friday night, it will be waxing, and very close to full. This adds to a beautiful autumn evening, and to the feel of Halloween.
And corn mazes that have extended hours into the night, are especially festive. Ah yes, there will be kiddos running around, yet you can make this a night for you and your darling to partake in your own way.
Make it a Date
Invite her to a date to outside and under the Full Moon! Make sure you are prepared to make it an A-Mazing night for both of you. For example, if flashlights are required, bring two, and make sure the batteries will last. Have a good idea of the venue features and highlights, and be ready to partake.
When inviting her, make plans clear so she has an idea of what to wear. Be aware of the weather forecast, and even bring an extra scarf or hat for her in case she might need it. This is part of making your lady feel safe and comfortable. Then, have a blast imbibing in this autumn night together!
