Celebrate a local tavern tradition at the Brass Rail.
This is the oldest tavern in Topeka, established in 1933. ’Tis in the heart of Oakland, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city.
Walk in today and belly up to choose among almost 100 beer options. Plug the Jukebox, and bump elbows with fellow patrons. Most are from the neighborhood, and other parts of Topeka.
The Brass Rail hosts events, including Karaoke Nights, Trivia Nights, live band performances, and fundraisers. “We are open every holiday, so every day of the year all folks have a place to be,” says owner Emil Spaeth.
